So, I have resolved this year to take a closer look at exactly what is getting me so frustrated and why I act the way I do.
On another note, I have been making HUGE improvements in my efforts to keep the house clean, make better meals for the family and being all around more "domestic." That makes me happy. I am finding that when
'they' say a cluttered house is an unhappy house, that 'they' are right.
I am using some...not all yet, but some...of the Fly Lady's tips, tricks and techniques to help me with the house and overall organization. She has got some GREAT stuff on her site, as well as her facebook page. If you haven't checked her out yet, I highly recommend it.
I am also LOVING (OK, becoming TOTALLY addicted to) Pinterest. I am continually amazed at the level of creativity that is looming within people...and it seems as though it all comes out here, one one neat little site.

OK...speaking of crafty fun. Check out the skirt that I made for Ms. Ladybug...this was a practice one for a Christmas present of a velvet skirt (I still have to take pictures of that).
She was happy with it and I think that it turned out pretty good. I did lengthen the final skirt though...although, she has since asked that the skirts have a little bit of a flare at the bottom, so that it is "easier to move"...which shouldn't be too difficult, even with my limited sewing abilities.
